When you take a screenshot on your iPhone, you can send it to other people by email or text. Apple has made it easy to do this. Step 1: On your iPhone, press the top-right button. It will be on the side or the top of the corner, depending on the type of car. In order to lock and unlock your iPhone, you press this button on your phone.

Step 2. If you have a newer iPhone with a Face ID and no front buttons, you’ll need to hit the Volume Up button on its left side. All of these are iPhones: the iPhone X, XR, XS, 11, 12, and 13 versions.

Step 3, if your iPhone has a circular home button on the front, use it to take a picture. In 2020, the iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, and all iPhones before 2017 have a home button on the front. After you press the buttons correctly, your iPhone’s screen should briefly turn white, which means that you’ve successfully taken a screenshot. If your phone isn’t quit, you’ll hear the same sound as when you use the iPhone Camera app.

For example, you can just squeeze the edges of your iPhone with one hand. It’s a little hard to use with devices that have a home button because you’ll need two fingers. In this case, if you touch the side or top button before the home button, your iPhone will turn off instead of taking a picture. It may take some practice to get the timing right.

How To Share a screenshot on iPhone

In the bottom left corner of your screen after capturing a screenshot, press on it.

Your screenshot will open in the last section’s annotation mode.

Crop or annotate your screenshot before sharing it.

Tap the Share icon in the upper right.

The iOS Share Sheet appears, allowing you to send the picture by text message or email, share it on social media, AirDrop it to another Apple device, or store it in Apple Notes.

Tap the Share option again to send your screenshot to another service. Repeat these procedures as needed to distribute to numerous locations.

To end sharing hit Done in the upper-left corner.

Optionally save your snapshot to photos or files, else hit Delete Screenshot. Only your picture library or iCloud Drive will be affected by this choice; the screenshot will be emailed or stored to all other locations you’ve shared it.
